Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens with the information you share when you join the Avren waitlist on this site. It is short because we collect very little — and we intend to keep it that way.
This policy covers only the Avren pre-launch website and its email waitlist. When the Avren app launches, a separate, fuller privacy policy will describe how the app itself handles your information.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, you give us your email address. That's the only thing we ask you for.
Our email provider, Buttondown, also automatically records limited technical information when you sign up — most notably your IP address, which its system uses to check for fraudulent or spam sign-ups. If we later send waitlist emails, Buttondown may also record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.
Why we collect it
We use your email address for one purpose: to send you occasional updates about Avren and to let you know when early access opens. We don't use it for anything else, and we won't send you unrelated marketing.
Who it's shared with
Your email address is stored and processed by Buttondown, the service that manages our waitlist, in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as needed to operate the waitlist or if required by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you're removed.
- Request your data or its deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the information associated with your email, or ask us to delete it entirely, at any time.

Children
Avren is not directed to children, and the waitlist is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we'll remove their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the waitlist handles your information, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
